JBM launched into producing TV and radio programs, broadcasting them through Christian TV satellite channels. Programming included worship music videos, programs for children and women, plus a teaching program.
Planted Smyrna Church in a little building with four members. By the end of that year, it had grown to over 300 members, requiring the largest building in IZMIR and MANISA, Turkey, to accommodate them all.
Churches in Turkey and underground churches in country are increasing in size and number.
Wrote and published a book, Bone of My Bones, about identity in Christ and women’s role in society. It shows God’s faithfulness to women in the Bible, and that He will stand with them in their own difficult situations today.
By God’s grace, JBM continues to grow in Him by being placed in a garden alongside other growing trees. Your ministry—or you as an individual—can be one of the fruitful trees that God has placed next to us to help us continue growing and equipping others who are thirsty for God.
JBM continued growing in 2021, with a dream of planting more Home Churches in country.
To do so, we developed a systematized approach by focusing on planting family-based Home Churches by building bridges to connect family members more closely with each other. Planting family-based Home Churches reduces the level of danger and the barriers posed by anti-Christian security issues.
Leadership Training and Development is emphasized to strengthen the foundations of the bridges between groups. Bible Storybook for Kids was produced to equip parents and underground churches to build into the next generation. Persians are facing many difficult issues. JBM launched a weekly live show to discuss the biggest issues of the day, and how to address them.
